After attending courses such as film-making, photography, image editing, writing and other related areas, young people create products aiming their professionalization, to increase self esteem and also mobilize other young people from institutions, public schools and exchange experiences with students from college and professionals from Radio and TV Stations and newspapers. In the prospect of exploiting the potential of young people as transformation agents, the project creates a network of knowledge and learning in the communication, art and culture field through the collective construction, the socialization of the information and the experiences between Ramacrisna's students and different communities. |

Through the project, the young communicators team has already launched seven editions of a newspaper focused on young people which was entitled ANTENADOS(Tuned People). It was printed 3000 copies and they were all distributed for free to the cities of Betim, Belo Horizonte, Juatuba and Esmeraldas. Along with the newspaper, every month it were also published an alternative publication named fanzine for Ramacrisna's internal communication, directed to 500 students and employees from the institution and the regional community.
The launch of its first edition - "Antenados" newspaper which was in July 2007, had a tribute to the journalists who promote the information and social activities dissemination that contribute to the reintegration of the youg people into society. The honorees received the Journalist Arlindo da Silva Correa Award, which takes the name of the Ramacrisna's founder. He is a journalist from Paraíba, who arrived in Minas Gerais in the decade of 40, with the dream of promoting education's actions and assistance that could transform the reality of less fortunate people. Since they started the work, the "Antenados" have already visited the press in BH and Betim, to see firsthand how the journalists work. Thus, they visited the Globo Minas TV station, Horizonte TV station, Inconfidencia Radio station, "Estado de Minas" journal, Liberdade Radio station and "O Tempo Betim" journal. Besides that, they participated into interviews for departments such as Cadernos D+ and Prazer em Ajudar(Pleasure to Help) of the "Estado de Minas" journal, program called "Ação" from the Globo TV Station and Caleidoscópio from Horizonte TV station. In the last two years they participated in a Festival called ‘Favela é isso aí’ (This is what a Slum is"). In 2009 the Urban Tribes video, a documentary produced by the group of Young Tuned Communicators, was one of the selected works for the second festival ‘Favela é isso aí’.
It became a pride for the whole Ramacrisna's family, which also had the opportunity to receive in the Cultural Center, one of the Festival shows, in December 2009. The event took place in Betim through a partnership formed with FUNARBE - Artistic and Cultural Foundation of Betim and it was responsible for bringing the O'Zom band in the end of the night with a great vibe.
