Betim - The Weld Town

Since 2006 the Missão Ramacrisna welcome the "Cidade da Solda" (Weld City) in Betim, a federal program, designed by Prominp.

The welders and blowtorch workers course uses the SENAI methodology, has a partnership formed with Betim's City Hall and is sponsored by the companies Belgo Bekaert, White Martins, Esab, EscoSoldering and Codeme.
It is also supported by Petrobrás, Orquel and DSD
The course is appropriate to young people between 18 and 30 years who lives in a social vulnerability situation and residents from all neighborhoods of Betim City.

After qualifying, the companies above described as partners are the major employers of the graduated ones, due to the overwhelming demand of this kind of professional in the market.
