Global Solidarity - Hope One World Project

Annually, during 15 days, teachers from the University of Liverpool exchange knowledge with students from Ramacrisna within Globalized Solidarity Project - Hope One World Project, as a partnership with the Liverpool Hope University.

The project proposes an exchange between teachers and graduated students from the Arts and Design School atthe University and Ramacrisna's students.

During the exchanging time, when the team from the University of Liverpool is located in Betim, they develop artistic activities with the students, leaving as a reference some sculptures that were made together. This partnership began in 2003 and has enable a rich exchange of experiences between students from Ramacrisna and workers from Futurarte, as well as a greater understanding of the Brazilian culture, fauna and flora undertaken by the Liverpool group.

This type of exchange is usually performed in countries such as Africa and Asia. Brazil is the only country of non-English language spoken that participates in the project, and Ramacrisna is the single institution chosen for this activity. In August 2010 another visit of teachers from Liverpool Hope University is already planned. "
